  just heard from a reliable source that some at the canadian branch have received their lay-off notices under their doors at bethel.

  don't know what the letter looks like.

  probably something like, " the tribe has spoken, bring us your torches"

  Here is a thought Sparrowdown because of all the sexual rape cases coming out the Wt. will use this closing down of KH, large building sites and sending home everyone. As a reason for doing this because Satan is now using the governments to attack them. They will say all the accusations are false and this shows the big A is very near. So find the nearest basement or cave and hide. After all the smoke is cleared it will business as usual. Just a thought. Still totally ADD

  this last week i was e-mailed that my aunt had died.

  she was 95 years old and had a long a good life with a loving family around her.

  the reason this is more good news than bad is because due to the help of a member on this board i was able to reconnect with her.

  Could you imagine if I never made contact with my aunt. I would not know if she was still alive. I would have never got to talk to her and learn the other side of the story of why I she never talked to my parents again. How she saw the evil in the Wt. and how happy she was that I made it out of the cult. It was a very heart warming conversation I had with her. It will be a memory I will never forget.   This last week I was e-mailed that my aunt had died. She was 95 years old and had a long a good life with a loving family around her. The reason this is more good news than bad is because due to the help of a member on this board I was able to reconnect with her. Because of this cult I was born into I never knew very much about my so called worldly relatives. My parents had nothing to do with them. It was not until I found out I may have a 1/2 brother out there I have never meant did a wonderful person on this board PM me and asked if she could help. She never could find my so called 1/2 brother but found several cousins and my aunt on my dads side. I was so thrilled I called my aunt and talked to her for over a hour. My wife said I was finally connecting with other family members for the first time in my life. It caused a inner peace within myself. So I want to thank a very special person who made all this possible. Thank you so much ( LoisLane looking for Superman). You made my life better and more fulfilled. I continue to maintain a close relationship with my 3 cousin by e-mail and cards and it was all because of you. You have made this world a little better because of your hard work. Thank you so much.   I was a born-in. Born in 1954 my parents was told I would never go to school. At 16 years of age got baptized. In 1972 I graduated from high school. Got married in 1974 mostly because of 1975. With that said why did I become a Jw. The example I will use may help many understand why born-ins become JW. Growing up being a JW was all I knew. Nothing else. Being told what to do and when to do it was normal for me. Like it is was normal for me to eat meat for food. It was not until I was in my late 20's I heard about people who did not eat meat. I had no idea there was people like that. I knew the Wt. taught in the new system we would not eat meat any more but didn't know there was ones who did that now. This is a simple example that may help others to understand why many born-ins become JW. They know nothing else. They had never experience anything else outside the box of the JW cult. You may ask why could you not reason you was in a cult or something was wrong? You can't because your thinking is the thinking of JW cult reasoning mind not a free critical thinking person. It took 55 years before I woke up and that is only because I broke down and got help for my depression. I was able to see outside the box for the first time in my life. I hope this helps.   What blondie just said. This is all a media smoke screen to keep people from learning and thinking about the real issues that this country has. This is exactly what the big corporations and billionaires want the public to put all their energy into. If the American public learned how they are being manipulated by corporate owned media their hair would catch on fired or maybe not. To many are to lazy to go beyond what they see on TV news. Many of us here fought hard to get out of the Wt. cult so we could see the light. This is what many Americans will have to do to see the light of what is going on with the corporate driven propaganda media machine. My two cents worth. Still Totally ADD

  Thank you rebelfighter for your life experience in helping children and thank you OrphanCrow for the research on these matters. It seems this subject brings strong feelings. I know I felt like I had been beaten up after writing this post. But I do feel doing this is good for the soul. Still Totally ADD

  Hello rebelfighter,

  I totally agree with you on the emotional abuse issue. When I went through therapy I was told I suffer with spiritual abuse. This has and still does give me nightmares. They are fewer now. The abuse this cult hands out is enormous and for the most part the Wt is getting away with it. Thank you for your comment. If you can can you us what it takes to be a child's advocate?   Hello Jonathan Drake,

  I thought what I said was very correct. Sexually abuse is to weak of a word for what is happening. Rape or brutal rape is a much better way for people to understand what is really going on. I do not feel for someone who was sexually abused is better than being rape or brutally raped. It's the same. I just feel the language many are using should be put in a more forceful or stronger term than just sexual abuse. Yes many who are rape as children do become predators but there are also many studies I have read that say this is not true. With that said those who have been hurt by being sexually rape as children bear the responsibility of breaking that cycle as adults. I feel your pain and I hope as time goes on it will become less and less. I am sorry this upset you so much. Still Totally ADD

  I feel the real problem with the Wt cult concerning child abuse is it happens to children not adult men. Notice I didn't say adult women because they don't care about adult women either. I remember a C.O. telling me that my experience of being abused as a child made me stronger as a person. This shows most men in this cult don't get it, it devastates a child for a lifetime. Let's all face it. The term child abuse is a very weak word for what is really happening. Instead it should be called rape of a child and in many cases brutal rape. If brutal rape of men was taking place in the Wt. cult this problem would have been addressed immediately without hesitation on the GB part. But because it is children they just don't care. This cult has a long history of ignoring the children who are trapped in this organization. I remember when I was a small child back in the early 60's I was told time and time again by many old adults children did not belong here. How unloving and unconcerned many in this cult were. It was not until the mid to late 70's that the Wt cult showed any concern for the children. That was because now they had another avenue for new members for the future and for making more money with their free labor. Just think what would be taking place if 1000's of men in this cult were being brutally raped every few years? There would be an uproar within the cult. But with children nothing. Why? Because the cult couldn't care less about the children of the cult. Instead they have featured magazines about the children who gave up their lives for lack of medical care because of cult teachings. I feel this is the cancer that affects the Wt. cult and we who have walked outside the cult box should be using the word rape or brutal rape instead of child abuse. Child abuse is just too weak of a word for what is really happening. Maybe by using this terminology many more eyes will be opened. Take care. Still Totally ADD
